TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
